What is Talent Assessment Technology?

Talent Assessment Technology is a very broad term that refers to the application of IT to the assessment and development of people.  Simple examples of the application of technology include the online administration, scoring and reporting of tests.  More complex examples involve large-scale sifting of candidates and matching them against ‘target profiles’ or the use of target profiles to support employees in their self-development and career progression.  Recent examples include the use of video interviewing, virtual assessment centres, game-based assessment and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to candidate screening.
