Having started out as an operational manager running restaurants and hotels, I became a trainer and moved into HR management.

Following a career spanning holiday resorts, cruise ships, luxury hotels and latterly multi-site food retail, and armed with a desire to support and add value to customer facing organisations, I left the corporate world in 2016.

  1. specialise in L&D, management development and mid-senior level recruitment and outplacement support. I enjoy working with clients in various sectors such as IT, finance, media, education, charity and care, but have a particular passion for hospitality and customer focused organisations. After all, people are people wherever they work!

Harnessing the power of DiSC, I love to develop people to understand each other and communicate better. This not only makes for happier, more fulfilled employee’s but improves teamwork and maximises business productivity and profitability.

I utilise hands on high volume commercial and operational management experience with a pragmatic and people focused HR and L&D approach with the main aim of developing potential within people.

Designing and delivering bespoke L&D programmes is where I am happiest.

As a Springboard Ambassador and Co-Vice Chair of the Institute of Hospitality Southwest branch I am passionate about learning and development and promoting the hospitality sector as a great place to work.

Out of work, I enjoy spending time travelling and having adventures with my teen daughter, who is at college pursuing her dream of becoming a professional dancer and my design engineer husband, as well as our loveable labradoodle, Arthur.
